We are a diverse local community of people from all walks, ages and stages of life.
We gather because we share a common understanding. A need to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We believe that a life surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives helps us to become more fully human and more fully alive to God.
This is our desire, to be more fully connected to our Creator.
To be continually changed by Him and to grow to reflect His heart of love for those we meet.
We meet on Sundays,
To express our love and appreciation for God
To remember Jesus Sacrifice for our sin and failures. The price He paid to restore us back to the heart of God.
To Listen and Learn from Gods Word, how we can best live our lives for Him.
To encourage one another in the Journey of Faith
We gather during the week at different times and in different ways to help build a supportive Christ centred Community.
We welcome anyone who would like to journey with us in exploring a life lived with and in Gods Strength
We believe in:
1. The existence of one God in three Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
2. The divine inspiration, authority and inerrancy of the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and the need of the guiding ministry of the Holy Spirit for a true and spiritual understanding of the whole of Scripture.
3. The deity and incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
4. The salvation of mankind from the guilt, penalty and power of sin through the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His perfect obedience, His shed blood, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His unchanging priesthood.
5. The deity of the Holy Spirit and His work in the regeneration and sanctification of mankind.
6. The personality and malignancy of Satan and the fallen and lost state of all mankind.
7. The necessity of repentance towards God and of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His work for salvation.
8. The resurrection of the dead and final judgment of all mankind by the Lord Jesus Christ.
9. The visible bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal punishment of the unrepentant and the eternal blessedness of the redeemed.
10. The two recognised ordinances of the Church are baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Baptism is the immersion of believers upon their profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as a symbol of their fellowship in His death, burial and resurrection;
The Lord's Supper is a memorial until He returns, of the sacrifice of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. The warning in 1 Corinthians 11: 27-29 needs to be observed with regard to participating in the Lord’s Supper. Children may be invited to participate at the discretion of their parents.
